All electrical parts are warrantied for a period of 3 months from the purchase date, (view Terms and Conditions). Please make sure that the part numbers for the electrical part you are purchasing are the same as the part numbers for the part we can supply. Variance in manufacturer part numbers often means that the part will not work on your vehicle. Also, it is the buyer's responsibility to check if there is any reprogramming required on installation by your local dealer. Any freight costs associated with the return of an electrical part which the buyer did not make sure was correct will be deducted from the refund amount. This warranty does not cover installation labour or any additional expenses that may result from a defective product. Please make sure that the part you ordered is the correct part before installation. If a replacement is not available, a full refund for the cost of the part and original shipping paid will be issued. Altered items and custom orders are not refundable or returnable. Please inspect the parts immediately after receiving your order. The warranty does not cover failure due to abuse, misuse, improper repairs or maintenance, installation, alteration, or modifications. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, and consequential or subsequent damages. Some electrical parts are returnable only for replacement if faulty, not for a refund. Part Terms & Conditions No Labor Warranty. All parts must be installed within 30 days of delivery or pick up in accordance with procedures set forth within this document. All warranty claims must be validated with original receipts of purchase. At Impel Auto Parts’ discretion, we will repair, replace, or refund any defective part to the original purchaser, providing all warranty guidelines & procedures have been followed. Exclusions: 1. Parts installed in vehicles for off road use, or street legal vehicles modified beyond factory specifications are not covered by this warranty. 2. Parts installed in commercial, or fleet vehicles or marine use are not covered by this warranty. 3. Incidental or consequential damages including but not limited to the cost of related parts, loss of income, travel expenses, rental, towing, and diagnostics fees are not covered by this warranty. 4. This warranty will not cover damages or failure arising directly or indirectly due to improper installation or related vehicle issues, misuse, abuse, maintenance neglect, environmental conditions, or accidents. General Limitations: 1. Impel Auto Parts reserves the right to have the part inspected to ensure that all the provisions stated within the warranty have been met and to inspect the part prior to repair, replacement or refund. 2. Any repairs or removal of the part before Impel Auto Parts or its contractor can inspect the part will void the warranty. 3. Warranty is valid to original purchaser only. Warranty is not transferable. Any part returned must be in same condition as when purchased. 4. This part may have accessories that are attached and must be removed or switched for proper installation. This is solely the responsibility of the installer as such accessories are not covered under this warranty. 5. Warranties are applicable on the part supplied, products repaired or replaced under warranty for which a warranty claim has been recognised by Impel Auto Parts (regardless of the type of warranty claim made) shall thereafter be covered only for the balance of the original warranty period. 6. This warranty is void if any of the following occurs: (A) Part is installed in an application not intended by the vehicle manufacturer. (B) Failure caused by towing a trailer unless your vehicle is rated by the manufacturer for towing. (C) Failures caused by non-covered components, improper installation, abuse, misuse, racing, poor workmanship, improper or lack of maintenance. (D) Failure caused by or related to collisions, theft, vandalism or any act of God. (E) Warranty on all mechanical parts including but not limited to Engines and Transmissions is void unless installed by a qualified technician. Engines: Engines come with a standard 3 months parts only warranty. Labour warranty can be purchased at an additional cost. Engine warranty applies to engine only. Any accessories such as water pumps, belt tensioners, wiring etc are not covered under warranty. Our engine warranty does not extend to engine consumables such as gaskets, filters, plugs etc nor does it cover oil leaks as that is the responsibility of the customer/fitter. Warranty is void if the engine fails due to overheating. It is the customers/fitters responsibility to ensure that the cooling system is in good order. This means the radiator must be cleaned and tested by a professional or replaced with new. The same goes for thermostats and all coolant hoses. All warranties are void if the engine is not fitted by a licenced mechanic. Engines that are not fitted correctly will also be void of warranty. Transmissions: Transmissions / gearboxes come with a standard 3 months parts only warranty otherwise stated on the invoice. It is the responsibility of the customer/fitter to ensure the following in order to maintain warranty. All transmissions are required to be serviced upon installation. New filter where applicable and new fluids. Remove all contaminants from cooling system, replace transmission cooler and ensure that all transmission lines are properly flushed. It is the responsibility of the fitter to ensure the correct oil/transmission fluid is used. In some cases, transmissions may be required to be recalibrated by a dealer. This is the responsibility of the customer/fitter and no costs associated with this will be covered under warranty. Any damage caused to transmission due to misuse void warranty. Any damage caused by the incorrect fitting of transmissions or use of incorrect fluids will not be covered under warranty. To maintain warranty all gearboxes/transmissions must be fitted by a licenced mechanic. It is the customers/fitters responsibility to contact Impel Auto Parts regarding any and all issues that may arise during the warranty period. Any actions taken to resolve issues without the authority of Impel Auto Parts will not be covered under warranty. This includes towing costs, labour, parts and consumables.
